2010 ATAA Seminars

John Will Artificial Rock Habitat Seminar
Are you tired or frustrated making artificial rocks and dioramas?  Or are you interested in an easy yet effective way to create rock habitat?  If so, join John Will once again for a "hands-on" demonstration using QUIK-ROCK to put together a realistic looking habitat base your clients will love.  Leave the mess behind as we have "fun" making a QUIK-ROCK base for a lifesize animal during this 2 hour seminar.  We will also discuss how you can increase your business income using this product.  This is an audience participation seminar and the habitat base will be auctioned off with the proceeds to benefit the local chapter.

Jim Hartsock & Greg McBride Taxidermy Business and Tax Implications Seminar

Rick Carter Habitat Composition
Rick will be presenting a seminar about composition when designing your habitat, base and mount.  His ideas are intriguing and will surely help you in your business and for your competition pieces.
Steve Favour Form Modification & Alteration
Members are encouraged to bring forms that they would like to see modified, from a shoulder mount deer that needs the eye to nose length changed, to a life size form that you want to change from walking to jumping.  Steve has extensive experience in this often feared process and can most certainly show us something new.  This seminar is sponsored by the UTA.
