I have only been doing taxidermy for a few years now but have been interested in it for a long time. I can remember in junior high school a taxidermist came and gave a presentation to the class and afterwards I helped him carry his mounts to his car. I hung out at his shop whenever I could and later on I had him mount some deer for me.  I am a bona fide coues deer addict and try to get out and hunt whenever I can. I am not really into fishing or bird hunting.  My favorite food is whatever my wife is cooking and diet coke. I listen to country music or classic rock. I love to hang out with my boys and look for coues sheds.  I do my taxidermy out of my garage and kitchen table but someday will build a workshop.  I am glad I joined the ATAA and met other taxidermists. I have not yet mounted a deer I am happy with and am trying to learn as much as I can.
